Passionfruit, Orange, and Guava Ice Cream!

Passionfruit, Orange, and Guava Ice Cream!

2 cups half and half
3/4 cup guava, juice
3/4 cup passionfruit, juice
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
1/3 cup sugar
3/4 tsp vanilla
1/2 a fresh lime, juiced

1 cup fresh pineapple pieces

A few drops coloring if desired, red and yellow

In a blender, place Guava, passionfruit, and orange juice. Add sugar, vanilla, lime juice, and pineapple. Blend on high, until well mixed. Pour into ice cream container, whisk in half and half an freeze according to manufacture’s instructions.

Makes 1 1/2 quarts

Irish Cream Dark Chocolate Shamrock Shake

Irish Cream Dark Chocolate Shamrock Shake

4 cups double dark chocolate gelato or ice cream, softened
3 tablespoons Irish cream barista syrup, like Torani
1 cup vanilla ice cream
Dark chocolate shavings
Pirouline cookies, optional

Blend together chocolate gelato or ice cream with syrup.
Pour into individual glasses, top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzle with additional Irish cream syrup, generously sprinkle with chocolate shavings and garnish with a cookie.

Makes 4 servings

Pink French Macaron Cookies and Cream Ice Cream

Creamy vanilla ice cream swirled with delicious pink French macarons, this could possibly be my new favorite ice cream. You’ve got to give this fancy feminine version of cookies and cream a try! ~Amy

Pink French Macaron Cookies and Cream Ice Cream

4 cups half and half
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup sugar
3 tsp vanilla
Dash of salt

2 cups broken pink macaron cookie pieces, homemade or purchased

Whisk together half and half, sugar, vanilla, and salt.

Freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Stir in cookies, and serve immediately or freeze until ready to use.

Makes 1 to 1 1/2 quarts

Key Lime Pie Ice Cream Dessert

My Daughter Ozma and niece Olivia came up with this refreshing and tasty twist on the classic Key Lime Pie! Love it!~Amy

Key Lime Pie Ice Cream Dessert

Ice Cream:

2 eggs
4 egg yolks
1 1/4 cups sugar
3/4 cup key or regular lime juice
2 1/4 cups half and half
1 tbsp lime zest

In a medium saucepan, whisk together, eggs, egg yolks and sugar. When mixture is light and thick, whisk in lime juice. Cook over medium heat whisking constantly until thickened. Remove from heat and whisk in half and half, strain. Stir in fresh lime zest. Refrigerate until chilled. Freeze according to manufacturers instructions. Or pan freeze until firm. Keep frozen until ready to use.

Graham Cracker Bowls:

1 1/2 cups finely crushed graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cups sugar
6 tbsp butter, melted

In a mixing bowl, stir together crumbs and sugar, drizzle with butter and
mix. Press divide mixture evenly into muffin tin, pressing firmly to the bottom and sides.
Heat oven to 375
Bake for 7 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool completely. Carefully remove from tin and set aside.

When ready to serve, fill cups with ice cream, garnish with a fresh lime wedge. Serve immediately.

Makes 6-8 servings

Fresh Banana And Caramel Ice Cream Soda

My special caramel sauce with bananas is one of my favorite combinations, and it tastes even better with a little dulce de leche and vanilla ice cream! Topped with cream soda and a little whipped cream, it is a classic! ~Amy

Fresh Banana And Caramel Ice Cream Soda

Brown Sugar Caramel*
Fresh sliced bananas
Dulce de leche Ice Cream
Vanilla Ice Cream
Soda: original or New York Vanilla Cream Seltzer
Caramel cookie

Drizzle caramel down the sides of the glass. Layer scoops of ice cream, and fresh fruit into glass. Top with soda and garnish with whipped cream, fresh fruit, and caramel cookie.

Serve immediately.

*Brown Sugar Caramel sauce

1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup butter
1-2 tbsp half and half, optional

Melt butter over medium heat, stir in brown sugar, cook until bubbly. Remove from heat and whisk in sour cream. Add half and half if a thinner consistency is desired.

Makes 1 1/2- 2 cups

When I was about eight years old, my first real adventure in the kitchen was making a fresh blackberry pie. So blackberries have a special place in my heart. Blackberry crumble and vanilla ice cream, swirled with a fresh blackberry sauce, topped with soda and a white chocolate cookie, this tasty treat has brought back great memories for me, and hopefully will make a great one for you! ~Amy

Black and Blueberry Ice Cream Soda

Fresh Blackberry Sauce*
Fresh Blackberries
Blackberry Crumble Ice Cream
Vanilla Ice Cream
Soda: original or New York Blueberry Seltzer
Whipped Cream
White Chocolate Pirouette Cookie

Drizzle the sauce down the sides of the glass. Layer scoops of ice cream, and fresh fruit into glass. Top with soda and garnish with whipped cream, fresh fruit, and cookie.

*Fresh Blackberry Sauce
2 cups fresh or frozen blackberries, slightly thawed
1/4 cup sugar
2-3 tbsp water

Place all ingredients into food processor or blender and blend until smooth.

Brown Sugar Caramel*
Peach Cobbler Ice Cream
Dulce de Leche Ice Cream
Soda: original or New York Peach Seltzer
Whipped Cream
Butter Waffle Cookie

Drizzle caramel down the sides of the glass. Layer scoops of ice cream, and fresh fruit into glass. Top with soda and garnish with whipped cream, fresh fruit, and Butter Waffle cookie.

Serve immediately.
