With apples on my mind, I couldn’t help but think this taste of fall flavored salad would hit the spot. I love this dressing, it makes this salad just say Autumn! To make it a main course, add grilled chicken and serve with warm brown bread and butter, and a glass of chilled apple cider! ~Amy
Crunchy Greens, Honey Crisp Apples, and Smoked Bacon Salad, topped with a Creamy Maple Balsamic Dressing
1 bag mixed Spring Greens
1 bag mixed bag of Kale, broccoli, red and green cabbage, and brussels sprouts
2 honey crisp apples, chopped or spiral cut
1/2 cup crumbled bacon
3/4 cup crumbled goat cheese
1/2 glazed pecans
Creamy Maple Balsamic Dressing*
4 tbsp balsamic glaze or balsamic reduction
4 tbsp maple syrup
4 tbsp sour cream
In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic glaze and maple syrup. Whisk in sour cream until smooth.
In a large bowl toss together greens, top with goat cheese, bacon, glazed pecans, and apples. Serve with Maple Balsamic Dressing.
