Sweet Cream Stracciatella Ice Cream
5 cups half and half
1 cup sugar
3 tsp vanilla
Dash of salt
3 oz Lindt, or Ghiradelli chocolate bar, shaved or grated
In a medium sized bowl, whisk together half and half, sugar, vanilla and salt.
Pour into ice cream bowl and freeze according to manufacturers instructions.
In the last five minutes of freezing, add in the chocolate shavings.
Makes about 1 1/2 Quarts
